OncoLogics believes strongly in supporting the community in which they serve. Their goal has always been to be as involved in raising community awareness and supporting local causes. OncoLogics looks forward to continuing their tradition of community involvement and support for many years to come.

National Cancer Survivors Day - Lafayette, LA

In 1993, OncoLogics hosted the first National Cancer Survivors Day event held in Acadiana. This event is sponsored solely by OncoLogics and is a day of celebration for their patients and other cancer survivors in the area, as well as the survivors' friends and family. OncoLogics continues the tradition of celebrating "the renewal of life" each year. The event is held on the first Sunday in June and usually offers refreshments, keynote speakers, entertainment, raffles and bingo. National Cancer Survivors Day continues to grow annually in attendance and support.

The Games of Acadiana - Lafayette, LA
OncoLogics is proud to be one of the original co-sponsors of this event since its inaugural year of 2001. The main event in Lafayette is normally held in August and smaller events are held in adjacent locations throughout Acadiana, to support the Miles Perret Cancer Center. All funds raised stay in the Acadiana area to assist the Miles Perret Cancer Center, which is a comprehensive resource center and clearinghouse for cancer patients, their families and local health professionals for information, advocacy and support services. The Perret center receives its sole support from contributions and The Games of Acadiana remains its largest financial contributor.

Women's Life Conference - Laurel, MS

OncoLogics is an original corporate sponsor of this annual event, which began in 1996. Women's Life Conference is one of the largest in the state of Mississippi. The conference highlight is the luncheon that offers keynote speakers on a variety of medical issues that concern women. The conference's agenda addresses information and support for health, wellness and the daily challenges faced by women today.

American Cancer Society - "Relay for Life" - Lafayette, LA

OncoLogics has been a corporate sponsor for the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" event since its inception in 1993. OncoLogics remains committed to the American Cancer Society and the mission of support for cancer patients annually by contributing to all the relays in and around the areas they serve.

Council on Aging/Alzheimer's - “La Festival de Vieux Temp” (Old Time Festival)
As an original corporate sponsor, OncoLogics is a supporter of this one-day fair to raise funds for Alzheimer's Foundation and Lafayette Council on Aging as well as awareness of the many issues surrounding Alzheimer's and the lives it touches. In addition to the Alzheimer's Foundation, the “Meals on Wheels” and “Senior Employment Program” are just a few of the Council on Aging programs which will receive aid from this event.

Komen Acadiana Race for the Cure® - Lafayette, LA
OncoLogics is a proud sponsor of this annual event hosted by the Acadiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease in our community. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Race for the Cure, Komen has invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill their promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. Health Fairs
OncoLogics also participates in regional health fairs sponsored by hospitals and related organizations. Promotional materials, diagnostic and treatment information are distributed through a booth staffed by OncoLogics' team members.
