COUNSELING
OncoLogics strives to make the financial
aspect of a patient's therapy as simple and stress-free as
possible, thus allowing our patients more time to focus on
treatment and their own well-being.
OncoLogics understands medical benefits and
insurance coverage can be confusing and time consuming. For
this reason, our billing department will file all insurance
claims on the patient's behalf and will only contact the patient
if further information is needed or assistance is required.
Our staff is also available to answer any questions regarding
your statements and to help communicate with your insurance
provider.
OncoLogics and its physicians are members
of many insurance plans and provider networks. A complete
list of those plans can be found under “About OncoLogics” (at the
top of your screen), then by clicking “Paricipating
Providers” (on the left of that screen). If your network
or insurance is not specifically listed, please contact our
office as this list may not be the most up to date list available.
Our office staff will also work diligently with your carrier
and perhaps even become a provider if possible. Otherwise,
individual, direct contracts may be available to you.
Our staff will also assist in contacting state or federal
programs (for example Medicaid or Social Security) designed
to help families in financial need, and in particular those
with no insurance or other coverage. Individual contracts
and payment plans are also available to meet financial obligations
if the patient or family is under financial strain or needs
help and time to pay for their medical expenses.
