ONGOING
CARE
After a course of treatment has been completed,
the radiation oncologist may schedule one or more follow-up
visits with the patient, or the patient may simply return
to his/her referring physician for ongoing care. During a
follow-up exam, the patient receives a physical exam and perhaps
various blood tests. Of course, all patients are encouraged
to contact us at any time should questions arise after the
completion of treatment.
