ACADIana's
15th annual breast health symposium held
The Acadiana 15th Annual Breast Health Symposium
was held Wednesday Oct. 8th at the Cajundome Conventions center
from 6 - 8pm. Admission was free.
Attendees were treated to a presentation
from Guest Speaker Emory Austin, who is recognized as one
of only a handful of great women keynoters. She was chosen
in 1999 as the recipient of the National Speakers Association's
highest honor, the Council of Peers Award for Excellence -
Speaker Hall of Fame. She is also a 20+ year survivor.
A fashion show featuring Breast
Cancer Survivors was presented by Coldwater Creek.
OncoLogics'
CentreWomen & Our Lady of Lourdes were the presenting
sponsors.
