WELCOME DR. MAHONEY

OncoLogics, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Brent P. Mahoney, MD, Ph.D. to their team of Radiation Oncologists.

A graduate of Tulane University Medical School, Dr. Mahoney recently completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. He holds a Ph.D. for Cancer Biology from the University of Arizona Graduate School in Tucson, Arizona. He also completed an externship in Pediatric Radiation Oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

He has advanced training in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Intra and Extra-cranial Stereotactic Radiosurgery (including CyberKnife) and Interstitial and Intracavity Brachytherapy. Dr. Mahoney will add a number of outstanding services to OncoLogics, especially those pertaining to pediatric, gastrointestinal, prostate, lung, head and neck cancers.

He is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, The CyberKnife Society, and the American Medical Association. Dr Mahoney’s work has been published in a large number of clinical articles involving radiation and chemotherapy.
